Local Love Potions from THREE and 31st Union

Get mixing with the people you adore most in your life! Whether you are looking for an ideal love potion to sip with your sweetie, the perfect spot to celebrate Galentines day with your besties or simply a down right great cocktail, two of our San Mateo favorites share spotlight recipes with us.
31st Union Bartender extraordinaire, Candace Henne recommends The Jack Rose. A classic, yet simple cocktail with that red hue we all love for a bit of romance! The cocktail includes Apple Jack Brandy (hence the Jack), lemon and real Grenadine (hence the Rose) for that pomegranate pop!
Candace says: “It’s a sweet yet tart cocktail for whatever your feelings are towards the holiday. It’s high in alcohol, but easy to sip on. Kind of a sour with training wheels.”
