Pantone bids farewell to Radiant Orchid and welcomes in Marsala. Every year the Pantone Color Institute nominates a Color of the Year, forecasting which specific hue designers and consumers will all be using, wearing, and buying for the following year. This year Pantone has selected 18-1438, or better known as Marsala as the official color of 2015. Watch for this rich wine color to make a big splash this year!

Pantone explains, ‘because of its burnished undertones, sultry Marsala is highly compatible with amber, umber and golden yellows, greens in both turquoise and teal, and blues in the more vibrant range.’
