Belmont Park Summer Concert Series at Twin Pines Park Meadows Sunday afternoons. July: 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30.

Sway to the sounds of Music in the Park in Redwood City. July 5: Blue Summit, July 12: Janel and the Heist, July 19: Kyle Jester, July 26: Tortilla Soup.

Twilight Tails: Gather with friends and neighbors every Thursday, July 6, 13, 20 and 27 with your pooch from 5-6pm for a special hour of off-leash fun in Landing Green Park. July 6th marks First Thursday, a special Twilight Tails event celebrating our furry friends and the local community that caters to them!

Join Movies on the Square this summer in Redwood City. July 6: Fantastic Beasts, July 13: Doctor Strange, July 20: The Princess Bride & July 27: Moana.

Join the San Mateo County Parks Foundation for a new summertime park mixer series: Coyote Nights! (where howling at the moon is totally appropriate) on July 6 from 6-8pm.

The Central Park Music Series in San Mateo is every Thursday from 6-8pm through August. July 6: Neon Velvet, July 13: Forejour, July 20: Tito Garcia, July 27: Urban Outlaws. August: 3, 10, 17.

Head to Redwood City for Music on the Square. July 7: Paperback Writer, July 14: Long Train Runnin’, July 21: Lara Price, July 28: Rafa.

The annual Highlands fireworks show overlooks Crystal Springs Reservoir. In past years, the fireworks have started at approximately 9:30 pm. Mark your calendars for July 3rd and settle in before 9:00pm.

Celebrate Independence Day in San Mateo with a 4th of July Parade followed by a festival with midway carnival games. The 2017 theme is Stars, Stripes and Smiles.” July 4, 10am-3pm.

Foster City Fourth of July Celebration offers games, entertainment, a family parade, carnival rides, a barbecue, and fireworks over the lagoon at 9:30pm at Leo Ryan Park. July 4, 9am-9:45pm.

Watch the Redwood City Parade, then head inside the History Museum and make Fourth of July crafts from the 1880s and homemade churned vanilla ice cream. July 4, 10am-4pm

The Redwood City 4th of July Parade, Festival and Fireworks is the premier holiday parade in downtown. Participate in the 5K run, pancake breakfast and fireworks at 9:30pm.

Enjoy Fourth of July in the Park in San Mateo at the Martin Luther King Park and Pool (Mount Diablo Ave & N. Fremont St). It features music, free swimming, family fun and more. July 4, 11am-2pm.

Indulge in the Pour & Tour Experience at Riggs on July 6 in Burlingame.
