Fieldwork – Now Open for Beer, Bocce, Bites
Care to enjoy a pint of the finest local beer while brushing up on your bocce game? Game on! Fieldwork Brewing San Mateo at Bay Meadows has opened and is welcoming visitors to its beer garden.
Summer hours are: Sunday-Thursday, 11 am-10 pm and Friday/Saturday 11 am- 11 pm. Check the website for updated hours, please.
In addition to 30 beer tap lines, the location features food made to order by Berkeley’s Comal restaurant. The new launch menu will feature chicharrones, tamales, habanero black bean dip, chili-lime corn nuts and Mexican-influenced grilled cheese sandwiches.
Anyone who has visited Fieldwork’s original East Bay taproom knows that the craft brewer is all about creating a family-friendly, community vibe. That combination of Fieldwork’s artisan spirit along with their focus on fun, authentic gathering spaces made them a perfect match to open an outdoor beer garden at Bay Meadows.
The local press couldn’t wait to report on the opening of Fieldwork’s latest location:
