ROAM opens at 3081 Delaware Street on October 1st bringing carefully crafted and sustainably-sourced fare to Town Square! Opening Day menu will include Fall Specials such as the Autumn Burger (Brie, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Sage, Pumpkin Spread, Arugula), Red Curry Fries with Thai Coconut Dipping Sauce, Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Sesame Oil, Lime, Garlic and Chiles, Coconut Lime Artisan Sodas and Pumpkin Pie Shakes! Twilight Tails. Join us at Bay Meadows on October 4 for our popular First Friday Twilight Tails Vendor Fair, a huge hit with all four-legged friends and their human companions. Mix with other pet mom and dads, plus locals that cater to their every whim – groomers, walkers, sitters, photographers, dog wear designers, specialty pet bakers and more!

Join the History Museum in Redwood City for Free First Friday on October 5. Explore the museum, enjoy Playing in the Past and a General Tour.

San Carlos Art & Wine Faire on October 6-7 features 275 art and craft booths, three stages of entertainment, food vendors, wine, beer, a car show, and a family zone at San Carlos Avenue & Laurel Street.

Join LIFT Exercise San Mateo on October 7 and ride to raise funds for the American Cancer society. Donation of $40 gets reserve you a bike and allows you to support this amazing foundation all at the same time. Check in is at 10:00am and ride is 10:30-11:15am.

Spooky Halloween Macaron Bar with Food La La on October 30. Food La La will bring a signature macaron bar to the KitchenTown Café for an evening of spooky decorating!

Halloween Spooktacular on October 31 from 5-7pm at the Hillsdale Center. Trick or Treating from 5-6pm and other activities from 5-7pm. Kids can parade in their costumes, make slime, decorate cookies and enjoy face painting.

Howl O Ween Howl Pet Parade — Get your canines in costume and head to Landing Green Park to work of some of that spirited energy before convening in Town Square for the Howl O Ween Howl Pet Parade – October 31st at Bay Meadows in San Mateo. The general public is invited to view a special line-up/pet parade and cast a vote between 6-6:30pm in Town Square for their favorite canine in costume to WIN from a whole host of prizes. Voting ends at 6:30pm sharp!

There’s a new Farmers Market in town and it’s in the heart of the Bay Meadows community. Visit our seasonal market on Sundays, 9:30 to 1:30 on the corner of Delaware and Franklin Streets. The Farmers Market in our Midurban village offers nutritious California fruits and veggies, handcrafted baked goods, farm-fresh flowers, prepared artisan foods and specialty items. Guests can also enjoy live music, fitness events, entertainment for kids, craft workshops and more, all presented in the welcoming outdoors of this new neighborhood.
