Fly High at the Coyote Point Kite Festival

Go fly a kite! You heard us. There’s an entire festival dedicated to the love of kites and it’s just minutes from our doorstep at Coyote Point this month! It’s hard to beat the pure joy one experiences when flying a kite.  The bold colors flying high in the vast blue sky, tethered to earth by a thin string.  It’s a feeling that is both exuberant and relaxing at the same time.

You can reconnect to your youth as well as entertain your entire family at the nearby Coyote Point Kite Festival.  The festival will be held at the Coyote Point Recreation Area on Saturday, June 29 from 12pm–4pm. This marks the 3rd anniversary for this popular event and includes a variety of activities the whole family will enjoy :

Bring your own kites to fly as well!
