July 1-28, Putt’n Around Mini Golf. 18 hole course complete with scaled decorations and nighttime black light golf in Redwood City. Through July on Fridays-Sundays.
July 2, 9, 16, Arts & Parks. Families can enjoy free Hands on Art Projects and Mobile Recreation Activities in four of our beautiful neighborhood Redwood City parks!

July 3-4, Chalk Full of Fun on the Square. Join the artists on Courthouse Square and Chalk Alley at one of the newest additions to the Redwood City 4th of July festival.

July 4, 11, 18, 25 San Mateo’s The Central Park Music Series! This event hosts FREE live music on Thursdays through August 15th from 6-8pm in Central Park (Thursday, July 4th will be from 12-2pm).
July 4, 4th of July Parade. A premier holiday parade, festival, car show and fireworks takes place in the heart of downtown Redwood City.

July 5, First Friday Family Night. On the first Friday of every month, from 5pm until 8pm, parents and kids relax and celebrate the weekend together at CuriOdyssey.
July 6, PHS/SPCA Mobile Pet Adoptions. First Saturday of the month @ 12-2pm at Hillsdale.
July 7, 14, 21, 28, Farmers Market Bay Meadows. Shop the market, enjoy live music, catch kids activities at Sweet Peas Tent hosted by Little Wonders San Mateo, plus park your pooch at the #PoochPitStop hosted by our friends at For Sniffs and Giggles! Every Sunday on the corner of E. 31st and Delaware Streets in San Mateo from 9:30am – 1:30pm (Rain or Shine).
July 7, 14, 21, 28 Bicycle Sundays! Weekly on Sundays, a 3.8-mile segment of Cañada Road along Crystal Springs Regional Trail is closed between the Filoli entrance and Highway 92 allowing for non-motorized activities including jogging, bicycling, hiking, roller-skating, and walking (Strollers are welcome, but no ball/frisbee activity allowed). Cañada Road between Edgewood Road to the Filoli entrance will remain open to vehicles.
July 11, Twilight Tails. July 11th is this month’s date for the specialty vendor fair for your pooch pals, given July 4th is a holiday. Join the line-up of professionals that cater to your canines and enjoy a romp in the park with other pet parents. Create Yappy Hour by inviting your favorite four-legged pals for a romp in the park at Bay Meadows every Thursday evening from 6-7pm in Landing Green Park.
July 11, 18, 25, Movies on the Square. Experience Redwood City’s high definition surround sound 25’ outdoor theater this summer, showing of 12 movies on Thursday evenings starting at sundown.
