Central Park Turns Into A Wonderland This Winter

There are plenty of reasons to head to Central Park in San Mateo this winter! Grab your scarves, lace up those skates and enjoy 9,000 square feet of real ice in your hometown. The ice skating rink will be open through Sunday, January 12, 2020. An official celebration of the opening of San Mateo on Ice and the holiday season in San Mateo’s historic Central Park will commence with Santa’s Arrival, Ice Skating, Music and Holiday Lights Saturday, December 7th from 4-5pm, event 5-8pm.

Santa Clause will make a grand entrance, plus there’ll be

  • Inflatables for the Kids

What to expect? 
Past years this event at Central Park has featured a horse and carriage, snow, photos with Polar Bear, music, food, hot cocoa, painting, cookie decorating and more. Food features have included lobster rolls, bowls of chowder plus Caramel Apple Fritters with Sam’s Chowderhouse and Johnny Doughnuts!
