Brighten Up Bay Meadows, Brighten Up San Mateo

The lights are up in San Mateo’s Central Park for this holiday season so round up the family, grab a bite to-go and enjoy a festive evening picnic (outdoors or in your car).  Pack up the blankets, grab your favorite chocolate shake and add a brûléed marshmallow or pick-up your favorite chicken sandwich! Direct from home dining options are easy, as take out is available from ROAM in Bay Meadows Town Square or nearby Hillsdale Shopping Center.

Let’s get glowing, Bay Meadows! Brighten up your neighborhood nights with festive lights by participating in Brighten up San Mateo, a local Holiday Decoration Celebration! Deck the halls, decorate your home to the nines and register your home to create a wonderful driving route the community can enjoy safely this month. Be sure to tag us in your photos @baymeadowslife so we can re-share them!  And be kind, practice safety and remember to keep a mask handy and maintain physical distancing. Let’s make a fun and festive drive-through route for San Mateo families to enjoy this holiday season! 2020 has brought new challenges, but we are San Mateo Strong and close the year out by bringing happiness to the faces of many children this year with wonderful holiday decorations!

Step 2: Submit!

Submit your registration form and photo to Brandon at bparra@cityofsanmateo.org by end of day Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
