Central Park Music Series Returns June 22

The City of San Mateo’s 2023 Central Park Music Series returns every Thursday evening from 6-8pm running from June 22 through August 10 to downtown San Mateo. Showcasing a variety of diverse music genres, the Central Park Music Series is San Mateo’s signature summer event that brings you Thursday evenings of free live music including a wide array of bands from classic rock to salsa to country that music lovers of all ages can enjoy.

Enjoy an evening under the stars filled with live music this summer at Central Park, a San Mateo landmark with a beautiful gazebo, lighted tennis courts, a playground and baseball field just minutes away from your doorstep at Bay Meadows. Whether you’re looking to socialize with friends, get some much needed family time, or dance the night away, the San Mateo Central Park Series is sure to be a great time and deliver a memorable summer evening each week. Food and drink will be available to purchase.

June 22:  Native Elements Reggae
San Francisco powerhouse, Native Elements has been keeping the energetic, feel-good reggae tradition alive in the Bay Area for over 19 years.

June 29: Pop Fiction (Top 40/Dance Party)

July 6: Flambeau (Cajun/Zydeco)
Tom Rigney and Flambeau are a hot roots music band playing Cajunzydeco, blues, and New Orleans music.

July 13: Stung (Police/Sting Tribute Band)
July 20: Electric Rodeo (Country)
July 27: Julio Bravo y su Orquesta Salsabor (Latin)
August 3: Department of Rock (Rock Party Band)
August 10: Bud E. Luv Orchestra (Swing/Big Band/Party Mix)
