Feel the cheer, the NEW Winter Menu is here! Bay Meadows has all the festive bites this season waiting in Town Square. The firepits are lit! Dive into a ‘Hoppy Holiday’ at Fieldwork Brewing’s San Mateo Beer Garden and bring your four-legged pal along. Order up a Date Latte from Blue Bottle and take a stroll with a loved one through the winding paths along our parks. Get your hearty fuel fix with a personal sized pizza from Slices or a new Winter Burger with Brie from ROAM Artisan Burgers. There’s a whole world of seasonal favorites for whatever you’re craving.

Take a peek at what’s on the menu this winter at Bay Meadows:

Introducing the ROAM Winter Burger made with a Fra’mani smoked ham, brie, quince spread, caramelized onions, mizuna, and stone ground mustard. Pick your patty of choice and pair it with Tandoori fries with yogurt mint dipping sauce. Add on a seasonal Blood Orange artisan soda.

Try hearty seasonal veggies as your whole dish. Roasted Broccoli takes center stage on the menu as the pick for Seasonal Vegetable! Whether your side or main, this dish of charred broccoli with lemon, garlic, mint, chiles and parmesan does not disappoint. In fact, we have it on good authority that it pairs nicely with a glass of wine!

Warm up to a Pepper Jack Grilled Cheese sandwich made with Farmhouse bread and Pepper Jack cheese and a bowl of Roam’s Winter Soup is a roasted tomato tortilla soup with cilantro, avocado, and lime.

ROAM says. “The chicken sando got a little winter makeover and it’s all kinds of cozy. Kind of a chicken parm, Italian grandma vibe going on – chicken strips, pesto, housemade marinara (plus more for dipping!), melted mozz & parm, all on a brioche bun.”

You’ll be filled with holiday spirit with the Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Shake, a perfectly decadent way to treat yourself this season.

Adding to the winter line up ROAM at Bay Meadows are salads such as the Farmers Market Salad (Mixed Greens, Rainbow Carrots, Radishes, Tangerines, Pumpkin Seeds, Dried Cherries, Chives, Mint, Avocado, Feta).

Hazy Holidays from the taproom at Bay Meadows! Hazy Train IPA is in the house! Deck the halls and pack the fridge by 12/24 with this IPA featuring notes of fresh squeezed juice, Rio Red grapefruit, honeydew melon, passionfruit, papaya, overripe pineapple, blueberries, and a hint of the sticky icky. Pick up some PULP IPA which enjoys notes of fresh squeezed orange juice, lemonhead candies, peach candy rings, and juicy sweet mango. If that’s not enough there’s also the Keep the Gold Westcoast IPA and Hook & Loop Light Lager.

Gather round the firepits and play a game of bocce with neighbors and friends. The San Mateo taproom at Bay Meadows will be open 1 hour earlier on 12/24 for you to get those last minute beers, merch, a moment for yourself…

Blue Bottle is getting in the holiday spirit by crafting a couple winter drinks: Date Latte and Snickerdoodle Milk. The Date Latte is made from rich espresso, creamy steamed milk, and pure date syrup—simple and perfect. But what rounds out the flavor profile (and gives you all the holiday feelings) is the freshly ground nutmeg sprinkled on the snowcaps of foam. And this nutmeg is special. It’s the best Sri Lanka has to offer with a slightly sweet, warm, and mildly spicy flavor that tastes like comfort. ⁠

The Snickerdoodle Milk, made specially for kids (or the kid in all of us), combines steamed milk with ground vanilla beans from Uganda, fragrant cinnamon from Sri Lanka, and pure date syrup.

Blue Bottle also has special seasonal nibbles, available at select cafes this season so ask your barista if they are coming to Bay Meadows. The Almond Cardamom Snowball and Warm Toffee Date Cake, just the right size for sharing. Made with rich dates and a hint of nutmeg, this holiday bundt cake is served warm and showered in buttery vanilla toffee sauce with a hint of salt.

Slices is serving up NEW personal sized pizzas! Get cozy this season and order up your hearty winter favorites like Meatball Calzones (with homemade Sicilian-style meatballs), or the Clam and Garlic Pizza topped with Sausage and Smoked Brisket. To get you through the week, they are also offering 50% off beer and wine all day Wednesdays.
