Celebrate the Lunar New Year at Hillsdale

It’s the Year of the Rabbit and Hillsdale Shopping Center invites you to join the family-friendly 2023 Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday and Sunday, January 28 & 29 at 1pm in the Macy’s Center Court. Hillsdale will ring in the Year of the Rabbit with lively Lion Dancers, acrobatic performances, a 50ft dragon display, iChing fortune telling, calligraphers and more! They’ll even be an opportunity to take photos with a life-sized costumed Panda. Attendees are invited to partake in the time-honored red envelop giveaway, symbolizing energy, happiness and good wishes.

LionDanceMe will perform on Saturday & Leung’s White Crane Dragon on Sunday.

LionDanceMe was founded by Norman Lau in 2012, who took a traditional Chinese cultural art and transformed it into a modern entertainment company. Originally started as a single high school club, LionDanceME has since expanded and added programs in schools all around San Francisco.
