San Mateo County Fair Returns June 1 to June 9
Get ready for your favorite fair foods, farm animals, live music, exhibits and carnival rides! Entertaining the region since its humble origins in 1926, the San Mateo County Fair officially returns this June. Held from 11am to 10pm Saturday, June 1st to Sunday, June 9th, the fair will be closed to the general public on Monday and Tuesday June 3rd and 4th. There is no better way to usher in the summer than a day (or two) at the fair.
Enjoy the smell of freshly roasted sweet corn and wafts of funnel cake in the air, and don’t miss the views atop the Ferris Wheel, plus there’ll even be pig races! With 15+ food concessions and 60+ commercial vendors, we can’t wait to have a corn dog in one hand and a turkey leg in the other! This year, watch for Bun Baos!

The San Mateo County Fair offers two outdoor stages for locals to showcase their talent. These stages are programmed with family-friendly performances ranging from heart-pumping, rock and roll, blues bands to stunning, spine-tingling, jazz dancers.

Fairgoers can purchase a wristband that is good for unlimited rides on the day it is redeemed (nontransferable) or they can purchase individual ride tickets.ย Fair admission is NOT included with the unlimited ride wristband.ย Fair admission tickets must be purchased separately.

The primary mission of the San Mateo County Fair is to promote and educate the community about culture, technology, the science of agriculture, horticulture, arts, and sustainability. We educate youth and community members by providing year-round programs and, opportunities to exhibit projects during the annual county fair. We also provide year-round support to local San Mateo County non-profits through sponsorship, advocacy, and educational opportunities.
