The Craft Beer Scene Flourishes in South Bay
California is a mecca for craft beers and the South Bay has always been a haven for beer lovers, but now more than ever, it is a great time for hop lovers to be in the 650. The artisanal craft beer craze is flourishing in the South Bay and craft breweries are innovative, experimenting with fruit, coffee and chocolate beers and beyond.
Whether you’re sipping pints from the Ale Arsenal in San Carlos or checking out the facilities at Steins Beer Garden in Mountain View, the torrent of craft-beer purveyors give you endless options.
Have you heard? Bay Meadows Delaware Social Street will soon become a regional hot spot of action-filled spaces ranging from The Biergarten and bocce ball court to a bandshell for events and entertainment. Kick back after work and meet friends (or set up your own tournament!) for a game of bocce next to a Biergarten that will surely become a favorite happy hour destination for the whole neighborhood. Modeled after the Biergarden in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, you’ll enjoy mentally transporting yourself to the modern streets of Bavaria. The outdoor setting will offer plenty of space to hang out with colleagues, friends and family while living your life in motion and enjoying your favorite brew.
Don’t miss our Beer Garden at the upcoming Bay Meadows Peace, Love and Green event on Saturday, April 12th. Grab a few friends and your tickets here to enjoy live music, lawn games and brews in Bay Meadows Park.
