Yoga in the Park @ Landing Green Park: April 2, 2016

Our monthly Edible Gardening classes hosted by Homestead Design Collective offer tips and tricks to help us grow together as a community. From beets, carrots and radishes to sweet butter lettuce, peppery arugula and crisp romaine, everything you need to know about how to grow your favorite salads. The Secret Show: A Night of Stand-Up Comedy: April 4, 2016

Twilight Tails (every Thursday) at Landing Green Park: April 7, 2016

Kick back in our new lush park, Landing Green, while your pooch plays with the other dogs around town. During this social hour, we will serve tasty treats and water for your pooch and cool beverages for their parents. April 7th Fluff & Puff Dog Wash will be here giving complimentary nail trimmings and clippings.

TAP SF Presents: 2016 Taiwanese Brunch Series: April 10, 2016

TAP-SF Membership branch welcomes everyone to the 2016 Taiwanese brunch event. The main dish is the traditional Taiwanese small hot pot. And the feature dessert is the delicious shaved snow ice. After brunch, you can head to Bel Mateo Bowl to burn some calories.

San Mateo County STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Festival: April 16, 2016

The festival will introduce families to STEM through over 30 hands-on activities, speakers, and contests as part of Global Youth Service Day. Guaranteed to be a fun, engaging, and informative day for everyone with activities such as robots, 3D and laser printing, virtual reality, coding, airplane design, and more!

Earth Day on the Bay: April 16, 2016

The Marine Science Institute is honoring Planet Earth with the annual “Earth Day on the Bay” event. They’re open to the public just once a year and they’ve made sure to bundle as much wonder, fun, and knowledge into a single day as possible with rock steady juggling, feed the sharks and more!

CA Baby & Kidz Expo: April 17, 2016

This expo features nonstop family fun all day! With hands on activities, face painting, balloon artists, train rides, storytime characters, sing-a-longs, diaper derby races, gymnastic fun, bubble rollers and lots more. The expo also features tons of parent’s resources, coupons, and giveaways.

3rd Annual Downtown San Mateo Restaurant Walk 2016: April 19, 2016

Join a walking tour of downtown San Mateo and enjoy tasty treats from some of the finest San Mateo Restaurants. Registration begins at Scandinavial Design, 317 S. B Street at 5:45 pm. Current participating restaurants are Roti, Pacific Catch, Three Restaurant, Kingfish, and many more!

Earth Day Clean-up at Coyote Point: April 23, 2016

Help make our beaches and coastside parks cleaner! Volunteers will be out at 9am at the Beach Parking Area. Follow the signs. All you need to do is sign in and grab a bag.

The Hillsborough Antiques + Art + Design Show: April 29-May 1, 2016

The show features over 150 premier exhibitors from across the U.S., Canada and Europe offering fine antiques and decorative arts representing all design movements of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and introducing vintage 20th century modern.

Mark your calendars for the 11th Annual Bay Area Maker Faire at the San Mateo Event Center on May 20-22, showcasing creative and resourceful people in the areas of science and technology, engineering, food, and arts and crafts.
