Twilight Tails at Landing Green Park. Residents and friends of Bay Meadows are invited to join us every Thursday from 5-6pm for our dog-friendly community event, “Twilight Tails.” Join us on August 4th to meet Tom Chapman, former Jockey that raced at Bay Meadows and now devoted artist.

Join the San Mateo Fire Department at The San Mateo Chili Cook Off in Central Park and vote for your favorite Chili on August 27th! Pssst! Mark your calendars for #RHRU on Sept 17th and challenge the San Mateo City Fire Department in our Spicy Wings Contest!
A portion of RHRU proceeds will be donated to the San Mateo Parks Foundation and to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, a burn prevention and education charity championed by the San Mateo Fire Department. While you’re eating and heating up, help raise money for these good causes by entering the Spicy Wings Contest, emceed by NBC Bay Area’s Mike Inouye. Test your heat palate against other firefighters of the San Mateo Fire Dept in the contest and get a shot at winning the grand prize of a weekend at Calistoga Hot Springs.
