Meet Valerie and Radlee

We are thrilled that another family has decided to call Meadow Walk at Bay Meadows home.      This community of 74 townhomes built by Shea homes is nearly sold out. Like many who have purchased homes in Meadow Walk, Valerie and Radlee and their adorable son, Maximilian, are over the moon to have found their dream home! They fell in love with the community and were further convinced that this was the perfect place for them by Radlee’s brother, who’s been living here with his family for the past year and absolutely loving it. Of course, having family very close by is an added bonus!

Radlee and Valerie were already locals to the Peninsula, so the transition was fairly easy for them. Now, they’re settling in with their adorable baby. We recently caught up and here’s what they had to say…

What are 3 reasons you chose to make Bay Meadows your home?

1) We fell in love with the new development.

2) San Mateo has a great school district!

3) We LOVE the central location. It’s a convenient commute for both of us (Radlee works at Stanford and Valerie works in San Francisco).

What amenity most excites you about life at Bay Meadows and why?

We LOVE all the Parks! Our son is 16 months old, and he loves going to the park. We love taking him since it is literally right outside our door.

Do you have plans to “dig into” the community gardens at Bay Meadows?  If yes, what are you most excited about seeing grow at Bay Meadows?

No plans yet, but we are very intrigued by the community garden. We would love to grow our own herbs for cooking.

Are you familiar with San Mateo?  If so, what are some of your favorite restaurants?

We love Philz coffee, Himawari, Ramen Dojo, Koja Kitchen, Poncho Villa, Pokeatery, the various Boba Tea spots, Ben tre, and the fact we are in between neighboring cities (Burlingame and San Carlos) that have great restaurants as well.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Working out. My wife and I go to Orange Theory Fitness, and I am also a member of Marvelous CrossFit. We absolutely love spending time with our baby boy, Maximilian Jaxson Cruz.
