The Breakfast Club Brings Brunch Bliss to Bay Meadows
Join the club and catch a new vibe in Bay Meadows Town Square! Located across from Roblox, right next to Blue Bottle Coffee and Sidewalk Juice, The Breakfast Club at Midtown – San Mateo is serving up comfort, connection, and crave-worthy dishes that make leisurely mornings something to look forward to. Open daily from 7 AM – 3 PM at 3035 S. Delaware Street, The Breakfast Club brings an energetic brunch experience to the heart of our community — where residents can meet, mingle, eat, and celebrate sunny San Mateo days together on the patio.

Step inside and you’ll feel the buzz. The space hums with upbeat DJ sets, the clink of coffee mugs, and the shimmer of cocktails complete with playful paper parasols. Equal parts lively and laid-back, it’s the kind of spot where brunch turns into an afternoon hangout before shopping at Hillsdale Shopping Center, spinning the wheel at Clayroom San Mateo, or catching a soccer match at Bay Meadows Park. From Loco Moco and Breakfast Chow Mein to Eggs Benedict, Brioche French Toast, and Chilaquiles, the menu is a feast for both sweet and savory tastes — perfect for a casual date, a family outing, or a solo brunch at the bar mingling with other locals.

And if breakfast isn’t your go-to, the menu has you covered with satisfying lunch options like sandwiches, burgers, and salads — all crafted with the same comfort-forward flair. The Breakfast Club’s menu is also refreshingly inclusive, offering vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices. Plant-based eaters can sub in tofu, Soyrizo, or egg alternatives, while gluten-free brunch lovers will be thrilled to find Blueberry Banana Pancakes made just for them. Everyone at the table can find something delicious to dig into.
According to the team behind The Breakfast Club, Bay Meadows was the perfect fit for their first Peninsula location:
“We felt Bay Meadows was an ideal fit for us because it’s a beautiful, growing community that was underserved when it comes to dining options. The area has an incredible neighborhood feel, with residents who value great food and a welcoming atmosphere — exactly what we aim to provide.”
The restaurant’s design and vibe make it equally friendly for families and furry friends. “We’ve designed the restaurant to be a place where families feel completely at home,” says ownership. “The layout and energy of the space make it comfortable for parents to relax and enjoy themselves while their kids do the same. It’s truly a family environment from start to finish — we even have a dedicated kids’ menu.” Out on the vibrant patio, bold pink umbrellas shade diners and pups alike— with dog treats always ready.

Locals are already raving. “This was my family’s second time here in a week (first time for me). This place is badly needed as a solid breakfast/lunch option—great menu, full bar, super friendly staff. I can see going here for morning Niners games as well. Cannot wait to make this a regular, being so close to home…,” shared one Bay Meadows neighbor. Another fan wrote, “Yummy! I’m usually a savory girl but the pancakes are so fun! It gets super packed on weekends so get there early — the team always makes it perfect whether I’m dining in or doing to-go.” Popular picks include the Midtown Trio (mix and match pancakes or French toast), the Midtown Duo (custom eggs Benedict), and Breakfast Fried Rice — and don’t forget the top cocktails on the list: Espresso Martini, Tiki Mimosa, or the colorful Quatro Mimosa Flight (which includes 4 signature flavors). This is the kind of place where brunch turns into a regular neighborhood event.
So whether you’re craving something hearty or sweet, sipping a bold brunch cocktail, or meeting friends on the patio with your pup in tow, The Breakfast Club at Midtown – San Mateo is officially your new go-to club to kick off any day at Bay Meadows.
