Twilight Tails: June 1. June 1st falls on First Thursday where you’ll find a line-up of some of our favorites in the local community that cater especially to canines! From groomers to pet photographers and sitters to specialty camps  – this is your spot to find the best partners and people for your pooch. Tails will be wagging every Thursday: June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29! Join neighbors and friends with your pooch each Thursday from 5-6pm for a special off-leash hour in Landing Green Park celebrating our furry friends!

Join Movies on the Square this summer in Redwood City! June 1: Hidden Figures (PG), June 8: Spaceballs (PG), June 15: Trolls (PG), June 22: Passengers (PG-13), June 29: Sully (PG-13).

Enjoy free admission at the History Museum in Redwood City on the first Friday of every month on June 2.

Celebrate the start of summer with bites of freshly grilled lobsters and sips of artisan small production Napa wine! Summer Lobster Grill with Artisan Napa Wine Tasting on June 3 in Foster City.

cityFEST 2017 in Foster City welcomes guests June 3-4 for carnival rides, midway games, live entertainment, unique arts & crafts, great food and of course fabulous wine and beer. It kicks off on Friday evening, June 2nd, with the Carnival and a special kick off event!  The Carnival will run all weekend and the festival  – including the arts & crafts booths, food vendors and live music will run Saturday & Sunday.

The Biggest Little Air Show on June 3 at Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos matches a thrilling aerobatic performance by airshow pilot John Collver and his full-sized 1944 SNJ along with demonstrations of exceptional radio controlled models.

Paddock Park Fun. Bay Meadows welcomes San Mateo parents for some family-friendly shenanigans at Paddock Park for Momdays…and dad days too every Monday 3-5pm. June: 5, 12, 19, and 26.

Catch Redwood City’s 150th Anniversary Magic Lantern 3-D Light Show on June 6.

San Mateo Spring Into Summer Parade. Join us at Bay Meadows on Saturday, June 10 at 10am for the first ever Spring Into Summer Parade to kick-off the return of the San Mateo County Fair.

Find carnival rides, a petting zoo, pig races, fried food, and music acts at the San Mateo County Fair at San Mateo County Fairgrounds on June 10-18.

The Foster City Novice Dragon Boat Festival takes place on Sunday, June 11. It’s a fun race, specifically designed for new paddlers.

Enjoy a day of dance in San Mateo’s Central Park during the Spring Dance Show on Sunday, June 11.

Head to the San Mateo Public Library for a line-up of summer of movies. June 12: Rogue One and Hidden Figures, June 19: Fences, and June 26: Queen of Katwe.

Dig It: Edible Flowers & Garden Teas , Bay Meadows’ community gardening class is offered on Saturday, June 17. Learn everything you need to know about growing, harvesting, and using edible flowers in the kitchen! We’ll also discuss making teas from flowers and herbs in the garden, while making and taste testing some of our favorite recipes.

Join the Belmont Park Booters’ Summer Concert Series at Twin Pines Park Meadows Sunday afternoons. June: 18, 25. July: 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30.

The City of San Mateo Presents The 2017 Central Park Music Series from June 22 – August 17 – offered every Thursday evening from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Join the Redwood Symphony on June 24 for a magical summer evening in a one-hour program that includes John Williams’ scores from Jaws and Superman, music from The Great Escape, Back to the Future, Ben Hur and more.

Burlingame Garden Adventure is on June 25, 792 Willborough Place & 121 Warren Road. The event benefits the Peninsula Museum of Art.
