Help us welcome our newest retailer to Town Square! You’ll soon be able to enjoy your very own slice of Sicily at Bay Meadows on Delaware Street adjacent to Tin Pot Creamery, Blue Bottle Coffee and ROAM Artisan Burgers. Slices San Mateo is planning to open April 13th serving up square cut, Sicilian-style pies baked in a black steel pan imported from Italy. It’s ‘Hip To Be Square’, enjoy home catering and so much more. “I live close by and I’ve watched Bay Meadows grow from the beginning. I drove through the neighborhood a few times specifically looking for a location for Slices.  I think pizza would be an added amenity to the community, says Cyndee, owner of the new San Mateo based Slices.

“Bay Meadows is a beautiful neighborhood and offers something for everyone. I love that it has a suburban/community feel and walking distance to CalTrain, the mall, the gym, grocery shopping, retail, soccer games and several parks.”

The 3 most popular items on the menu? Pepperoni Pizza, Italian Subs and Calzones!  We asked Cyndee what’s her favorite slice? “My favorite slice is the Fresh Veggie because I love the taste of fresh seasonal vegetables and extra virgin olive oil.” Plan a picnic this summer in one of our pocket parks with Italian subs and Meatball sandwiches, enjoy a Caprese Salad and a game of bocce, grab some of your favorite Fieldwork Brewing beers to pair up!  Grab a pizza and some Tin Pot Creamery ice cream to go, don’t forget an espresso from Blue Bottle to make your own affogato for a full family affair! We’re thrilled to welcome Cyndee and her business to the Bay Meadows neighborhood.

The soft opening is on Tuesday, April 13th at 11am and Slices will be open until 8pm that night. Preview the menu here. Watch your mailbox for a special offering! Residents within a 2 mile radius will receive a coupon in the mail over the next few weeks offering a free slice of pizza along with other coupons offering free sodas, salads and wings.

Regular Hours will be:

Sunday – Wednesday, 11am –  8pm
Thursday – Saturday, 11am –   9pm
