April isn’t lacking for fun events! Fill your fun zone with fresh fitness classes, furry friend gatherings, acroyoga, cooking classes, downtown walks, kids workshops, Earth day fun and so much more.

The San Mateo County Kitty Rescuers will be having a cat adoption fair at PET CLUB each Sunday from 12-3pm.

Twilight Tails First Thursday on April 5. Join us every Thursday with your pooch from 5-6pm in Landing Green Park at Bay Meadows for a special hour celebrating our furry friends and the local community that caters to them! (April 5, 12, 19 and 26th) 

Head to Open Paint by CATA in Redwood City on April 5 to paint, eat good food, and meet new people.

Plan an ice cream soiree! Spring Flavors have arrived at Tin Pot Creamery San Mateo in Bay Meadows’ Town Square! Featured flavors include Lavender with Lemon Poppy Cookies, ChocoCoco (vegan) and Passionfruit Lime Sorbet.

Join the History Museum in Redwood City for Free First Friday on April 6. Explore the museum, enjoy Playing in the Past and a General Tour.

Learn to base and fly, practice safe spotting, and interact with the whole class during the Intro to AcroYoga Workshop in Belmont on April 7.

Bay Meadows residents are invited to join us for our Tomato Mania free gardening class on April 7, 2018 in the community garden, one of the many reasons to enjoy #baymeadowslife.

Sassy Diva Designs in Redwood City is hosting a spring Break floral design workshop for kids 8 and up! The Spring Flower Workshop for Kids is April 10 and 12.

The City of Belmont Earth Day Celebration on April 21 will feature environmental booths, displays, children’s activities, exhibits and displays with prizes, fun and more.

Watch chocolate-making demonstrations, taste samples, meet the makers, and enjoy wine and beer pairings at the The International Chocolate Festival at San Mateo County Event Center on April 21-22.

Express your need for speed with a unique 2K/5K/10K running event that’s fun and healthy for the whole family on April 22 at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos.

Sweetbloomsco will have a two-for-one special for a Calligraphy Workshop that combines Spring Floral Pen Drawings. The class will be held at West Elm in Palo Alto on May 6 from 11:30am-1:30pm.
