Pacific Catch was founded in 2003 by two entrepreneurs, Keith Cox and Aaron Noveshen.  Through the combination of Aaron’s culinary adventures in various regions of the Pacific and Keith’s love of the casual, fresh fish restaurants found in Hawaii, Pacific Catch was conceived.  Starting with one small location, Pacific Catch has turned into one of the most unique fresh fish dining destinations in the Bay Area.

Pacific Catch Fresh Fish Grill opened its newest location on B Street in San Mateo in December 2013 and we are ecstatic to welcome them as a fresh addition to the ever growing “Best Small Town for Food”.

In case you haven’t heard: Rand McNally 2013 Best of the Road contest named San Mateo “Best Small Town for Food.” The judges said “San Mateo won us over with the diversity of its culinary options and with all its online activity, which showed strong community support for the restaurateurs. The town clearly has ‘something for everyone’ and is dedicated to providing its patrons with the best.”

Get ready to bring the kids! Pacific Catch was recently ranked as one of SF Bay’s fifteen most kid-friendly restaurants by moms @ SF Gate.

Pacific Catch is off the hook with raving fans on Yelp at their existing locations and we expect nothing less for San Mateo.

Lorie N. says try the Thai Curry with Mahi Mahi- sautéed eggplant, red bell peppers, green beans, cucumber, onions, toasted coconut, crispy shallots & green curry sauce.  They hit it right on with this one.  The Thai Curry sauce was perfectly creamy – not too rich and not too light and everything blended together so nicely with the rice.  Lovely dish.
