Bay Meadows

Mabel and Jeff are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met and so I was thrilled when they became residents of Canterbury at Bay Meadows.  Aside from being wonderfully engaged residents who love to participate in our social events (you can often see them avidly gardening in Persimmon Park), they also love exploring downtown San Mateo and all that it offers.

Here’s what they had to say when I recently caught up with them:

“We knew it was home once the movers left and we were in OUR space alone. Jeff and I looked at each other and couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. The feeling was so surreal; it still is to this day”.

I asked them if they could pick one of their favorite things about Bay Meadows, Mabel said, “Our favorite thing about Bay Meadows is the convenience of getting to and from work along with the close proximity of various markets. Jeff works in the south bay and I work in San Francisco, so living in a central location is very convenient for the both of us.”

“We love our new home and were so excited to get decorate and set it up perfect for us. We decided to turn our formal dining room into a lounge area.  Our future project is to turn part of our garage into a gym. We’re very excited for that day to come.”

3 words we would use to describe Bay Meadows: convenient, modern and diverse.

One of our favorite places to go for date night is Pacific Catch in Downtown San Mateo – we love trying new restaurants, watching sports and just spending time with each other!
