Spring Fun and Peninsula Egg Hunts
Looking for some fun this spring? We’ve done a little research and rounded up some local events in the area to get your egg hunting and pancake munching on. Hop to it and enjoy the activities and fun extras we’ve included below:
Barnyard Friends | Saturday, March 19, from 12pm-2pm / 2016
If you want to have a little fun before hunting your eggs, mingle and make friends with local farm animals at the Hillsdale Shopping Center. Learn about their farm life, what they eat, how they play and grow. Enjoy visiting with unusual animals including everyone’s Easter-time favorite, cuddly bunnies!
7th Annual Wags Hotel Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs | Saturday, March 19, from 12pm-2pm / 2016
Bring your furry friend to Flood Park in Menlo Park and enjoy finger foods and local vendors while your dog sniffs out eggs filled with tasty treats and valuable prizes. Don’t forget your camera for photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Easter Attire is always encouraged. Dogs and kids enter for FREE!
39th Annual Eggstravaganza | Saturday, March 26, from 9am-1pm / 2016
City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department’s signature springtime community event and largest “egg hunt” will be attended by hundreds of excited children and families eagerly searching for eggs in beautiful Central Park. Complete with a pancake breakfast, community parade and free entertainment all day long. Don’t miss the Funny Bunny Pancake Breakfast at 7am.
Burgess Park Egg Hunt | Saturday, March 26, from 10am-12pm / 2016
Each year the Bunny visits Burgess Park in Menlo Park with toys and candy filled eggs for girls and boys ages 8 and under. The festivities start with bounce houses, crafts, and pictures with the Bunny. Be sure not to miss photos opportunities with the fire trucks and maybe take a ride on “Old Tom”, an antique fire engine.
Kelly Park Egg Hunt | Saturday, March 26, from 10am-12pm / 2016
Since 2009, the Egg Hunt at Menlo Park’s Kelly Park has delighted the residents with crafts, a jelly bean guess, magic show, music, and photo opportunities with the Bunny! Bring the family and enjoy a fun-filled morning as the kids scramble for plastic eggs filled with goodies.
Egg Adventure Hunt | Saturday, March 26, 9am / 2016
Bring your basket to Twin Pines Park in Belmont for an egg adventure hunt! Free for ages 3-10, with games, refreshments and pictures with the bunny.
