Twilight Tails: Join us every Thursday with your pooch from 5-6pm for a special hour celebrating our furry friends and the local community that caters to them! Twilight Tails First Thursday Line Up! returns with all your favorite local Pooch People on September 7. Every first Thursday, Bay Meadows lines up local pet businesses that cater to your best-friend for you to meet, mix and mingle.

Make your way to the San Mateo County History Museum and check out the all new Magic Lantern 3-D Show in honor of Redwood City’s 150th anniversary. September 5 and September 12.

Uncover facts about dinosaurs and fossils at Hillsdale Shopping Center’s Kid’s Club on Sept 7 from 4-5pm! Explorers of all ages are invited to go on an adventure, traveling back millions of years through story, exhibits and hands on discovery. Kids can dig for fossils to take home, and meet and take photos with “Ralph”, the fun-loving 12-foot T-Rex, too. It’s a free event for the entire family. Program presented by Maker Playhouse. Sept 19 is Talk Like a Pirate Day at the Foster City Library. Kids age 3 – 12 are welcome to attend this special Storytime event at 4pm and are invited to wear their pirate costumes if they wish. Enjoy pirate stories, sing pirate songs, and treasure hunt for special pirate prizes.
