The Peninsula Photography Contest is back!

If you enjoy taking pictures at Bay Meadows and just beyond in all the lovely San Mateo + San Francisco Peninsula spots, then you’ll want to show off your skills at this annual local competition.  THE SIX FIFTY recently announced that SF Peninsula photographers of all ages and skill levels who live, work or attend school within the 650 area code are invited to submit entries for six different visual categories:

  • Nocturnal
  • Portraits
  • The Natural World
  • Moments
  • Abstract
  • Travel

Winning photos and those selected for exhibition will be displayed at the Palo Alto Art Center from May 21 to June 23, with a reception for the winners held at the Palo Alto Art Center on May 23, 2019. The winning photos will also be displayed in the Palo Alto Weekly and The Six Fifty. Top photo winners of 2019 will also receive cash prizes for their work.
