We’d like to introduce you to Brock Covington, Leasing Agent for The Morgan at Bay Meadows. Brock is originally from Los Angeles and recently made the move to our beautiful San Mateo. Brock brings over 6 years of experience in the leasing industry to his role, enjoys snowboarding and is bilingual.

We asked Brock to describe what makes Bay Meadows a special place to call home and to dig into the details of life at The Morgan. Read the interview below for some insight on our new community:

The Morgan provides an elevated atmosphere with close attention to details. From the beautiful arch ways and manicured gardens, to the high ceilings and high-end finishes, nothing has been overlooked to provide that luxe lifestyle residents seek.

Brock’s favorite amenity space at The Morgan happens to be the Resident Lounge with the pizza oven being located right outside!

I imagine it being one of our most popular amenities. Considering the great entertainment space and kitchen, I see residents and their neighbors holding special occasions and gatherings in this space. 

The Morgan is an amenity-rich oasis including, a clubroom, library, game room, secret gardens, hotel-inspired fitness studio, pet spa, bike room and more.

The built-in paneled appliances, Restoration Hardware finishes, spacious floor plans, and the elegant Spanish revival style architecture are a few of the many features that make The Morgan stand out. My favorite floor plan is the Manzanita with the paneled kitchen appliances and the ample space in the living room for a cloud couch.

What we find most renters are looking for these days is living space. Especially with most households working from home, that extra square footage and den space makes a difference in how efficient they are able to work.

Brock shares his favorite Bay Meadows flavors as a Muscovado from Blue Bottle, Blue Jasmine Tea ice cream from Tin Pot Creamery and a Spring Burger from ROAM. For an afternoon out exploring on two wheels he recommends heading out from the Bike Room to his personal favorite spot, Crystal Springs Regional Trail.
