Grab Your Scarves, San Mateo on Ice Opens Nov 11
Glide into the holidays as the San Mateo ice rink kicks off the season in the Peninsula! Located in Central Park, the San Mateo on Ice outdoor rink features 11,000 square feet of real ice making it the largest ice rink in the Bay Area. Skaters will be able to skate in the sunshine during the day, and under the stars at night. Grab your scarves and lace up those skates, the rink will open to the public on Friday, November 11th, 2022 and will be open daily (including holidays) through Sunday, January 8th, 2023 – click here for the hours and visitor details including a waiver which must be signed in advance of skating. What’s a party without ice? You can have the coolest party in town at the rink for those winter birthdays or have the rink all to yourself with a private two hour ice session for up to 24 skaters. The rink is open to all ages, offering daily recreational ice skating, free skate rental included. San Mateo on Ice also offers parties, private ice time, special events, and skating lessons.

Don’t miss the four “Community Skate Days” where skating and skate rentals are FREE thanks to generous, local businesses – November 16, November 30, December 7, December 13 and January 5.
Tickets! General Admission Tickets are $17 for standard pricing and $20 for certain premium dates. which includes all day skating, free skate rental, and a whole lot of fun! Helmets are recommended but not required. The rink schedule is subject to change due to weather and special events, so be sure to bookmark this spot and check back here.
