Holiday shopping season is starting early at our neighboring Hillsdale Shopping Center. Get ready to welcome Pressed Juicery, Kathy’s Holiday Snack Shop, Maaz Jewelers, GNC and more! You can also shop small this season and support micro-entrepreneurs in making the leap from home-based business to storefront retailer! Hillsdale is introducing a collection of four Celery popup shops to support. The Collective x Celery specializes in women’s clothing from local up-and-coming brands. Sole x Celery is a take on street-style, bringing elements of arts & culture and fashion items to create a modern experience store fully sourced from growing local brands. Joog x Celery is a vintage store made up of items created by young, community-based entrepreneurs. Goods sold will include racing tees, posters and more. Attic Salt is a Barnes & Noble concept featuring the best in music, pop culture, apparel, fun home decor, collectibles, gifts and more.

Many of the new additions hope to become permanent fixtures at the Peninsula shopping mall, which enters the holiday season on a strong performance year.  Hillsdale’s visits have increased by 23% in the past 12 months, and visitor traffic is up 17% compared to year-ago counts. Residents of Bay Meadows have been enjoying the new North Block at Hillsdale Shopping Center which offers an exceptional mix of entertainment venues, more dining and exciting expanded retail, all surrounding a beautifully landscaped outdoor plaza. lululemon and the new Cyclebar San Mateo have been particularly popular as Bay Meadows residents can walk to their regular workouts and popup fitness events.

Go! Calendars & Games is the largest operator of pop-up stores in the world, offering an array of endless games, toys, calendars, and books.

Maaz Jewelers is relocating from The Shops at Tanforan. Maaz Jewelers specializes in gold, diamond, gemstones, natural diamonds and custom jewelry, and is known for custom name charms in gold and silver.

GNC will return to Hillsdale Shopping Center to once again bring health and nutrition related products to mall-goers. GNC specializes in various goods including vitamins, supplements, minerals, herbs, sports nutrition, and energy products.

Kathy’s Holiday Snack Shop is a holiday spin on Kathy’s Creative Kakes, San Mateo’s premier creative cake bakery. The pop-up will also host Hillsdale’s annual Gingerbread House decorating workshop.
