Catch Coyote Point Summerfest on Aug 26

A San Mateo County community celebration is coming to Coyote Point Recreation Area this summer! The FREE event, put on by San Mateo County Parks, offers an afternoon with giant kites, train rides, activity and craft stations, REI bike rides plus performers and food trucks. Get ready to bring the family on August 26 12-4pm and nosh on items from Sam’s Chowder Mobile, Daniel’s Kitchen and enjoy sips from Kiss My Boba!  Download your mobile eticket for entrance here. * There’s a $6 vehicle entrance fee

Coyote Point Recreation Area located at 1701 Coyote Point, San Mateo is a 4.2 mile bike ride down Delaware Street or just over 5 mile drive from our location at Bay Meadows.  Explore the Magic Mountain Playground and CuriOdyssey where kids can get up-close to wild animals and enjoy hands-on science exhibits, or simply set up lunch at a picnic table by the Bay for an afternoon outdoors.

Bay Meadows and the surrounding San Mateo area are bike friendly and offer many different paths to ride and sights to see. Plus, Bay Meadows has a convenient bike map that you can download here, so you can decide exactly where to ride. Some resident favorites include the Bay Trail as well as Coyote Point Park.
