Bay Meadows and the surrounding San Mateo area is bike friendly and offers miles upon miles of scenic bike trails from cruiser paths and family-friendly destinations to more extreme mountain terrain. And just in time for the outdoor season, the City of San Mateo just made biking a little easier with five, free-to-use bicycle repair stations at key locations in town – a pilot project as part of the current Bicycle Master Plan update.
