While Hillsdale Shopping Center has been closed since March 17, 2020, and will remain closed until at least April 8, 2020, businesses considered “essential services” remain open, including specific restaurants (listed below), banks and grocery operator Trader Joe’s. We’re listing the latest on our Town Square retailers + Hillsdale neighbors here for your convenience.

At Bay Meadows, Town Square retailers have updated their services to offer take-out/pick-up, curbside service and even shipping. Here’s the latest on our community, followed by the latest at Hillsdale Shopping Center!

LIFT Exercise San Mateo has taken classes digital so that members can continue healthy habits while Sheltered in Place.

Blue Bottle Coffee has FREE shipping nationwide while cafes are closed – order up your favorite beans,blend boxes and pour over kits!

Tin Pot Creamery welcomes you to load up on your favorite pints for the whole family to enjoy! Now offering pick-up + delivery orders via DoorDash 1-7pm!

Fieldwork Brewing San Mateo is open from 12pm -8pm every day for purchase of beer to-go in Crowlers. Pre-order online first and pick-up later. Visit the Crowler Pre-Order system below complete with curbside pickup to continue to enjoy beers at home. Delivery to your home made by Fieldwork Team Members is also an option! $2.50 delivery fee + they will ask to see valid ID and are required to snap a photo to ensure they are not selling beer to minors.

Whole Food Market San Mateo is also open and has taken extended measures to ensure the safety and wellness of our communities, including adjusting store hours, currently listed at 9am to 8pm. Check here for new hours and updates, plus remote shopping availability.. Customers 60+ are welcome to shop beginning one hour before stores open to the general public.

Take-out or Delivery?

Specific eateries at the shopping center have shifted to takeout and delivery:
• The newly opened farm-to-table restaurant, Belcampo is taking orders by phone and through its Belcampo App for delivery and pickup.
• The Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen are also offering both takeout and delivery.
• Shake Shack is offering takeout

Banking Needs?
The Hillsdale Wells Fargo Bank is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Citibank is open 10a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and Chase is open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4p.m. Saturdays.

Hillsdale’s closure is part of the region-wide, shelter-inplace order aiming to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19. All open businesses are employing social distancing measures and all other emerging standards for optimal health and safety.
