Safe Streets Launches at Bay Meadows San Mateo
We’re excited to be a part of the Safe Streets San Mateo initiative, launching at Bay Meadows on Monday, April 27th. THRIVE in Your Natural Habitat! Certain Roads will be restricted to local traffic only (not fully closed). Let’s talk Safe Streets…
DO – Walk, run, bike, and play at a safe “6-ft social distance”
DO – Wear/Carry face coverings that can be used to wear near others
DO – Watch for essential traffic (deliveries, etc..)
DO – Try to park on a street not located on a “Safe Street”
DO – Show how you enjoy #baymeadowslife safely by snapping photos and sharing with community members @baymeadowslife!
On April 20, 2020, San Mateo City Council approved the Safe Streets San Mateo citywide educational campaign encouraging safer use of our streets during the ongoing County Health Officer’s Shelter in Place orders.
