BikeMatch is Doing Wheely Great Things

Join the #bikematch movement by donating your bikes or mechanic skills this year. Bicycles make the perfect sustainable transportation vehicle, especially so during this global pandemic when public transportation is compromised and car payments are difficult. Whether it’s for essential jobs, critical errands, or volunteering to help neighbors, the bike is an invaluable tool in surviving this health crisis.  @bikesiliconvalley and @greentownlosaltos have pulled together this handy program to give back.

Looking to give back to your local community? Joining the Bike Match movement is one way to get rolling!

🚲 “Obie Perez, a @stanford.healthcare worker, is a proud recipient of a #BikeMatchSV bike! “I didn’t think it would be real,” he said. He plans to use it to ride to work five days a week.”

Donate bicycles and parts by appointment. Email a photo and details of what you have and schedule a drop-off time for items that may be used right now.

Year round opportunities to make a difference along the Peninsula and Silicon Valley are offered 10am to 3pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of January-October in nearby Palo Alto. See the event calendar for more events and volunteer days. Learn more here.

The Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange is a Section 501c(3) non-profit organization.  info@bikex.org
