Rose all day in Fieldwork Brewing’s Beer Garden or plan to pick up some picnic items from ROAM Artisan Burgers where you’ll find English Pea Soup! or “Turnip the Beet” with a Spring Veggie Burger.

Start planning your picnics! San Mateo’s 300+ days of sunshine are best enjoyed outdoors – in Bay Meadows’ network of parks, trails, community garden, and 15-acres of open space. Take advantage of several outdoor spaces along Delaware Street offering bocce, fitness, ping pong and more, or enjoy proximal access to Whole Foods Market, Hillsdale Shopping Center and San Mateo’s thriving downtown.

The Spring Burger works well with any patty of your choosing! Enjoy a perfect pairing of mozzarella cheese, chimichurri, herb mayo, arugula and tomatoes. Turnip the beet with the veggie burger pictured here on top or 100% grass-fed beef on the bottom. As always you have your choice of the Pacific Coast Bakery Traditional Sesame Bun, Whole Grain Bun, Gluten-free Bun* (Add $1.00), or enjoying it in a lettuce wrap!

Adding to the spring line up ROAM at Bay Meadows offers the new Springtime Seasonal Chopped Salad (English Peas, Arugula, Rainbow Carrots, Wild Rice, Red Onions, Pumpkin Seeds, Radishes, Tangerines, Parsley, Mint, Feta with Strawberry Vinaigrette), a lemon meringue milkshake, and Truffle Parmesan, Chipotle Maple or Tandoori fries with a yogurt mint sauce! The side of seasonal veggies consists of sweet baby broccoli with grilled lemon, garlic, mint, chiles and parmesan.

Fieldwork Brewing at Bay Meadows is headed into the Spring with the release of the 2020 Fieldwork Cellars Rosé!

Produced from Zinfandel grapes cultivated at Five Blessings Vineyard in El Dorado County in the Sierra Foothills and inspired by the wines of Provence, Fieldwork Cellars Rosé is the color of wet quartz, beautiful pink with a hint of orange. The wine offers up aromas of fresh strawberries and honeysuckle, and flavors of macerated strawberries, honeydew melon and a touch of lemon juice squeezed on top. only 270 gallons of this wine was produced in 2020., but the brewers hope to increase production this year. Now available by the glass at Fieldwork Brewing San Mateo!
