10/11, World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off. This year is Half Moon Bay’s 48th Annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off. They will be live-streaming the Weigh-Off on Facebook.

10/11-15, October Sewing Camp. Camp Couture will be accommodating the San Mateo/ Foster City year round schools by offering sewing workshops for the duration of the breaks in October.

10/16, Fall Festival & Pick-A-Pumpkin Patch. Round up your family and friends and come out to celebrate the fall season at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

10/17, Pumpkin Painting Party. Enjoy pumpkins and popcorn in Burlingame. Everyone is welcome! RSVP to save your spot.

10/23, Halloween Spooktakular. Have a spooky good time for the whole family in Redwood City with carnival games, prizes, trunk or treat row, creepy crafts, and spooky photo back drops.

10/23, Digger Days at the San Mateo County Event Center. Bring the kids for an exciting day of exploring BIG construction machines, play fun festival games, and learn more about the construction industry.

10/23-31, Haunted Hangar Party. Come in costume and see the Gallery decked out in its spooky Halloween decorations and the “Great Pumpkin” Scavenger Hunt.

10/29, Story Time with Mrs. Dracula at Hillsdale Shopping Center 5-6:30pm. Enjoy Story time for all your lil’ pumpkins with Twinkie Dee Star as Mrs. Dracula! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Masks and social distancing enforced. No reservations necessary. Ages 4-9. South End, near The Children’s Place and H&M.

10/30, Movies in the Park: Coyote Point. Enjoy a family night out in the park as Cruella comes to the Coyote Point Recreation Area.

10/30, Autumn Floral Inspiration. Enjoy a creative and flower filled morning at Gamble Garden. Explore the beauty of flower arranging in autumn.

Thru 10/31, CuriOdyssey’s Pumpkin Days. This immersive daytime pumpkin experience features Halloween-themed science experiments, animal ambassadors, a pumpkin patch, jack-o-lanterns, and more.

Thru 10/31, Orchard Days. Weave through Filoli’s rows of apple trees and grapevines, learn about food production past and present, and take a fall-themed photo in the exquisite autumn light.

Thru 10/31, Harvest Faire. Jump aboard and take a 75-minute ride on the Redwood Forest Steam Train to Bear Mountain. Pick a pumpkin from the town’s pumpkin patch and enjoy heritage activities.

Thru 10/31, Pumpkin Patch Fun. Arata’s Pumpkin Farm is the must-visit destination for all your pumpkin needs. Challenge yourself mentally and physically in the world famous two-acre Minotaur’s Labyrinth hay maze, take in the wonders of the six-acre corn field and Pumpkin River. Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm is a popular pumpkin farm offering more than 60 varieties of pumpkins and squash that are perfect for carving or cooking. Or plan a visit to family-owned farm Andreotti Family Farms pumpkin patch and their fun corn maze.
