Meet Giovani, Sales & Marketing Associate at The Apartment Collection at Bay Meadows

We’re excited to introduce a new face to the Bay Meadows Apartment Collection team: Giovani, Sales & Marketing Associate. Born and raised in San Francisco, Giovani brings both local pride and a lifelong love for the Giants and 49ers to his work here in San Mateo. His days are a lively mix of welcoming prospective residents, coordinating tours, assisting with maintenance requests, and helping plan community events that bring neighbors together. “The most rewarding part of my job,” Giovani says, “is being able to help people feel at home and create a welcoming community where residents truly enjoy living.” His go-to order at Blue Bottle in Town Square? A classic vanilla latte—fuel for busy days helping new neighbors find their perfect spot at Bay Meadows. If he had to describe Bay Meadows in three words? Modern, vibrant, and welcoming.

When it comes to what makes Bay Meadows special, Giovani doesn’t hesitate: it’s the strong sense of community. “Whether it’s chatting with a neighbor during a walk or attending one of the local breweries around the corner, there’s always a welcoming vibe that makes Bay Meadows feel like home,” he shares. With its thoughtful design around parks, greenways, and walkable amenities, Bay Meadows makes it easy to connect with neighbors and enjoy the outdoors year-round.

Outside of the office, Giovani can often be found spending time with his child at Paddock Park, which he describes as the heart of Bay Meadows. “My kid loves the climbing structures and the open lawn for running wild, while I appreciate the shady benches that let me relax and keep an eye out at the same time.” For even more playtime, they head to nearby Central Park in San Mateo, a local gem featuring a Japanese Garden, kid-friendly train rides, and a large playground perfect for expending extra energy. And when they’re looking for something different, Sky Zone Trampoline Park is another favorite for bouncing fun with friends and family.

Giovani’s favorite place to mix with new neighbors? Fieldwork Brewing Company San Mateo on South Delaware Street in the Bay Meadows neighborhood. His go-to order is a Pulp Hazy IPA paired with a margherita pizza, the perfect combination for an easygoing evening. “I love the casual, open-air vibe—it’s easy to bring friends, kids, or even just relax after work,” he says. It’s this blend of approachable dining, family-friendly parks, and neighborly connection that makes Bay Meadows so unique.

Whether you’re new to the area or a longtime resident, Giovani is here to help you discover everything that makes Bay Meadows such a special place to live, play, and grow. Be sure to say hello when you see him around the neighborhood—chances are, he’ll have a warm smile, a helpful tip, and maybe even a recommendation for your next favorite spot.

Experience Midurban life. Bay Meadows is a family-friendly neighborhood with lots of open space to enjoy all-year long.
