Originally from San Jose, she clearly knows Silicon Valley and the Peninsula well. How does Cathy describe The Morgan in just 3 words?

We asked Cathy to describe what makes Bay Meadows a special place to call home and dug into the details of life at The Morgan. In what ways will The Morgan cater to a luxe lifestyle?

These residences are equipped with appliances that are sleek in design and have high-end finishes. Walking onsite is like walking into an oasis – you immediately feel the sense of a serenity and solace as you enter into the courtyard. The library creates a quiet sanctuary to read, work or study…and there’s the state-of-the-art gym.

What makes The Morgan stands apart from the crowd?

These were designed as condominiums so the residents will live in homes with up to 2,000 sq. ft. of living space. Sitting on your patio, while reading, meditating or sipping your favorite brew from Blue Bottle, Peets or Starbucks (all within walking distance) is a must. The soaking tubs and step in showers are a great addition to the bathrooms and create a place of total relaxation from a day’s work. One amenity to enjoy is the garden room which is designed to allow groups privacy while sharing the courtyard. When residents are ready to host a party, they can reserve the club house and open the doors to flow to the bbq & pizza oven area. One of my favorite spots would be the patio facing the main walkway. This spots allows the perfect opportunity to converse and meet new neighbors as they are passing through.

What will be your favorite amenity space realized at The Morgan?

I am really excited about the Fitness Studio. There is a private yoga room which can be reserved to work out on your own or bring in your instructor. The spin bikes can be rolled outside to enjoy a perfect outdoor workout.

How would you spend a day at The Morgan?

I would start my morning with a caffe latte from Blue Bottle and make my way to the Hillsdale Mall to do some very important shopping. But not before walking over to pick up my online grocery order from Whole Foods. After all of my shopping is taken care of, I need to grab some lunch from Mendocino Farms. Evenings are for working out, so I am heading to the fitness studio to meet my yoga instructor. We are on the terrace because the weather is perfect. Now time to get ready – my frameless step in shower is calling out to me. My girlfriends are coming over for our weekly trivia night and we are meeting in the game room with wine and snacks. Let the fun begin! The day is over and I am so glad I purchased my California King from West Elm, it fits perfectly in my master suite. I am looking forward to the best sleep ever.

What are renters most looking for these days when relocating or hunting for their next home?

In general, people leasing these days are looking for communities with spacious and comfortable homes that offer conveniences in one place. That is what the residents will get living at The Morgan.
