Bike Wherever This May

This year pledge to bike wherever. Keep the 2020 + 2021 momentum of opting outdoors, get rolling and celebrate biking during the entire month of May! Whether you bike to work, school, downtown San Mateo, parks, Caltrain, Hillsdale Shopping Center, along the San Francisco Bay Trail or just wherever, biking is good for you and the environment. Like Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition says, “Bicycling is one of the biggest ways you can reduce Climate Change as well as improve your health!” Want to energize others and run an Energizer Station near Bay Meadows? Sign up by April 22, 2022.

Pledge To Ride to get a BTWD bag, win prizes

SVBC is asking as many people as possible to get in the habit of bicycling for transportation rather than driving a car. Did you know that it’s possible to move more stuff using your bike than most people can fit in a car? Check out Carrying Things by Bike. And did you know if you choose to bike rather than drive you can save 1 million dollars?  See below for many fun things you can do during Bike Month and Bike to Wherever Days!
