Celebrate the Lunar New Year at Hillsdale
It’s the Year of the Dragon and Hillsdale Shopping Center invites you to join the family-friendly 2024 Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday, February 10th from 12-3 in the Macy’s Center Court. Hillsdale will ring in the Year of the Dragon with lively Lion Dancers showcased on America’s Got Talent, acrobatic performances, a life-size costumed Panda, fortune telling, the Lucky Red Envelope Scratch-off Giveaway and more!

Every celebration deserves some dim sum so be sure to get your order in at our neighboring Palette Tea Garden & Dim Sum at Hillsdale in San Mateo. Take-away or Doordash are offered direct from the website. Indoor and outdoor dining is also available for those looking to make a day of it. Attendees will also be entertained with elaborate Chinese traditional and folk dancing hosted by students of The Helen Dance Academy. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon close to home.
